An extemely lightweight useful screen capture tool. Program size is only 1.73MB.
It allows you to capture an entire window, region, fullscreen, freehand window
by draw or point-to-point, and more. It also has the usual output options you
would expect from a quality capture tool.
When capturing a region or using freehand, a magnifying tool allows you to see
fine detail so you’ll get a neat capture.
When finished, you can output to an editor of your choice, to file, printer, etc. or
you can use the built-in editor, which included alot of useful features: levels, crop,
add watermark, add text, and more.
It also allows you to record screen activities and sound into highly compressed
video files. Image output formats are BMP, GIF, JPEG, PCX, PNG, TGA, TIFF and PDF formats.
I’ve always used Snag-It in the past for capturing a region on the screen but it
has simply become too bloated with features I just do not need. If you are looking
for a quality screen capture utility small in size, then this is it.
And…I just installed it in Windows 7 RC 64-bit.
